The Duke of Riverrun from Game of Thrones may join HBO's Green Lantern TV series

According to foreign media reports, British actor Tobias Menzies, who once played Edmure Tully, Duke of Riverrun in "Game of Thrones", is in talks to join HBO MAX's new DC TV series "Green Lantern" to play the villain Sinestro. Tobias Menzies' appearance is really very similar to Sinestro.

Sinestro is a super villain in the DC Comics Green Lantern. He was once an excellent Green Lantern, but was exiled for violating the rules of the Green Lantern Corps and later became the nemesis of the Corps. Sinestro controls the yellow power of fear in the emotional spectrum and is the leader of the Sinestro Corps. Sinestro has been the number one opponent of Green Lantern Hal Jordan for many years. The two are both enemies and friends, and they fight endlessly.

Previously, HBO Max's Green Lantern Corps live-action series "Green Lantern" has announced its first starring role: Finn Wittrock ("La La Land", "American Horror Story", "Judy") will play Guy Gardner, one of the Green Lanterns.

Greg Berlanti, who is at the helm of CW's DC Universe, serves as the show's producer. He previously revealed that the show will be "the largest DC series we've ever created, and it will go into the universe," and it is said to be the most expensive show he has ever created.
