Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Season 1 IGN 7 points: A step towards success

The first season of Netflix's CG series "Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness" will be officially broadcast on July 8. IGN now gives it a score of 7. IGN said that the show is okay. Since everyone is familiar with the two protagonists (Claire and Leon), everyone can guess the villain in the show, and the importance of this show to the series and the time of each episode are quite unbalanced, but "Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness" is a step up from previous "Resident Evil" movies and series.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a standalone four-episode sci-fi thriller. Despite the predictable villains, poor animation of some of the supporting characters, and the imbalance in the importance and time of the two main characters, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a step in the right direction for Sony's upcoming Resident Evil live-action film and Netflix live-action series.

Plot summary:

In 2006, the White House was hacked, and traces of illegal access were found in the top-secret files under the jurisdiction of the president. American agent Leon S. Kennedy and others were summoned to investigate the incident. When the power suddenly went out in the White House, they encountered zombies of unknown origin and subdued them together with SWAT.

Meanwhile, TerraSave member Claire Redfield discovers a mysterious painting by an aphasic boy while helping refugees. Claire begins her own investigation based on the painting, which she believes to be of a person infected with the virus.

The next morning, Claire, who came to the White House to petition for the construction of welfare facilities, unexpectedly reunited with Leon and showed him the boy's drawing. Leon noticed the connection between the zombie incident in the White House and the strange painting, but he said it had nothing to do with Claire and left. Two zombie incidents in a distant country eventually developed into a crisis that shook the country.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will be released on July 8, 2021.
