The drama is produced by Stephen Chow, supervised and starred by Jiang Long and Zhang Tianai, and directed by Wang Jianhua and Song Tianshuo.

According to media reports, "A Chinese Odyssey" tells the story of 500 years after "Journey to the West": When Zhizunbao was busy dealing with Bai Jingjing, in a mountain village a hundred miles away, the little carpenter Zhizunyu was also judged by the powerful spirit stone heroine Yueguang to be the reincarnation of Sun Wukong. The two decided to set out to Huaguo Mountain to find their destiny and memories.

It is not difficult to see from the title that the drama is an innovative development of Stephen Chow's classic comedy film "Journey to the West".

It is understood that in June this year, "Golden Pig and Jade Leaf" produced by the 9527 Theater was launched and ended on July 16. The two seasons and 24 episodes have received a total of over 400 million views.
