Theatrical version of "Gundam G: Restoration" visual effects released, to be released in autumn 2019

Today (July 23), the five-part Gundam theatrical animation "Gundam Reconguista in G" released the key visual effects of its first theatrical film. The film will be officially released in the fall of 2019.

The "Gundam Reconguista in G" theatrical series is a new animation that re-edits all 26 episodes of the TV animation of the same name and adds new scenes, with Yoshiyuki Tomino as the general supervisor.

Key visual effects

The TV animation "Gundam Reconguista in G" was directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino and aired from October 3, 2014 to March 27, 2015. Set in the "Reconstruction Century" after the Universal Century, the story follows Belle, a candidate pilot in the organization that protects the space elevator, Aida, a girl in the pirate force, and Lalea, a mysterious girl, who encounter the Gundam "G-SELF" made with unknown technology and gradually grow up in the midst of being teased by fate.
