The Powerpuff Girls live-action pilot will be remade and redeveloped

Recently, according to foreign media Screenrant, CW announced that it will remake the pilot episode of the live-action drama "The Powerpuff Girls" and will redevelop it. Work will start later this year and will no longer participate in this year's broadcast season.

It is reported that the pilot episode of "The Powerpuff Girls" has been filmed, but now CW has decided to scrap the previous script and reshoot it, and has not yet announced the booking of the entire season of the show. CW did not disclose the reason for reshooting the pilot episode.

But this doesn't mean that the live-action series of "The Powerpuff Girls" has failed, because popular series such as "Star Trek" and "The Big Bang Theory" have also conducted multiple pilots before the official broadcast and achieved success. The pilot episode of "Game of Thrones" has also been remade, so let's wait and see!

The screenwriter and executive producer of "The Powerpuff Girls" is Diablo Cody, and Heather V. Regnier is responsible for the script rewrite. Starring Wang Ching-Ying, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrott, the three play the adult versions of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The show is adapted from the cartoon series created by Craig McCreeken and tells the story of the grown-up police girls who are dissatisfied with the loss of their childhood when they were fighting criminals when they were young, but now the world needs these girls to return to the arena.
