"Edge of Tomorrow 2" is a failure again. The heroine said that the schedule is too difficult to coordinate

The sequel to "Edge of Tomorrow" has been rumored for many years and has always been in the "in the works" stage. Recently, Emily Blunt, the star of "Edge of Tomorrow", clarified some rumors about "Edge of Tomorrow 2". Unfortunately, according to her, the sequel is probably still a long way off.

Blunt said on the May 11 show that Edge of Tomorrow 2 is now too expensive for Warner Bros. to shoot.

"To be honest, I think the movie might be too expensive. I really don't know how we're going to make it. I think it's hard to coordinate people's schedules. I love it, Doug Liman loves it, Tom loves it, we all love it. But I think we still have to figure out the state of the industry first, and I think we have to figure out what the next roadmap is for the movies that people want to make."

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt starred in Doug Liman's sci-fi blockbuster "Edge of Tomorrow" in 2014. The plot was adapted from the Japanese light novel "Killing Cycle". Its death loop setting has been talked about by many fans, but there is still no definite news about the sequel.
