"EVA: The End" box office breaks 8.2 billion, the highest record of Anno Hideaki's works

"Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" has been released for nearly two months since March 8. According to Japanese media reports today, May 6, the box office has exceeded 8.28 billion yen. Not only has it become the highest-grossing work in the history of the EVA series, it has now reached the highest box office record for Hideaki Anno's personal directorial works.

· "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" is directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Khara Studio. It is the fourth part of the Evangelion Tetralogy, which is a reconstruction of "Neon Genesis Evangelion". The story takes place in the red, deserted Paris, where WILLE, centered on Wunder, sends a crew led by Ritsuko to try to restore the city.

·The box office of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End" recently exceeded 8.28 billion yen, surpassing the previous work "Shin Godzilla" directed by Hideaki Anno, setting the highest box office record for Hideaki Anno's personal directorial works.
