The Flash Season 7 Preview: A Big Rescue Mission

At the DC FanDome fan festival, the "Flash" crew discussed the prospects for the seventh season of the show during a column symposium.

Cast members Grant Gustin (The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris), Danielle Panabaker (Killer Frost), Carlos Valdes (Cisco), Danielle Nicolet (Cecile), Kayla Compton (Allegra) and Brandon McKnight (The Black Hole) along with executive producer Eric Wallace discuss the future direction of the series.

First of all, Season 7 will pick up right after the end of the previous season. Each character will have their own growth process. The Flash is still under the influence of the evil doctor Eva McCulloch and has lost his speed. At the same time, the Flash's team is trying to repair his speed ability. At the same time, the Flash is still looking for a way to rescue Iris from the "mirror universe". And Iris herself is trying to escape from it. And the accomplices of the evil doctor McCulloch are trying to pry open the real world.

Executive producer Eric Wallace said that due to the epidemic, the show had to stop filming earlier. "We regrettably stopped filming when we had just finished filming the 20th episode of the previous season, part of which was the first episode of the 7th season."

The Flash series started airing in 2014. It is a spin-off of Arrow and has received many positive reviews since its launch. Its narrative style is different from that of Arrow and it has formed its own routine. After 6 years of development and operation, it now has a group of loyal audiences of its own.

Last year, Hartley Sawyer, the actor who played the "Elongated Man" in the show, was fired for making inappropriate remarks. Although the audience was reluctant to see this character leave, it seems that political correctness is more important now.
