Gabriel joins The Last of Us TV series as Joel's brother

According to foreign media Hollwood Reporter, Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Terminator: Dark Fate) has confirmed that he will join the TV series "The Last of Us" and play Joel's younger brother Tommy, a veteran who has not lost his idealism and hope for a better world.

The TV series "The Last of Us" is produced by HBO, jointly created by Craig Mazin ("Chernobyl"), Caroline Strauss ("Game of Thrones") and game director Neil Druckmann, and directed by Kantemir Balagov ("The Tall Man"), etc. Pedro Pascal plays the survivor Joel, and Bella Ramsey plays the 14-year-old orphan Ellie.

The Last of Us TV series will reinforce certain events from the original game. They will treat the original game in the same way they treated the original novel, expanding on its content rather than reinventing it.

The TV series "The Last of Us" may officially start filming on July 5, 2021, and is expected to be completed on June 8, 2022.
