The sequel to the action comedy "The Hitman's Bodyguard", "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard", recently announced a schedule change, from August 20, 2021 to June 16, 2021, in North American theaters. "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" was created by the original team of "The Hitman's Bodyguard" and directed by Patrick Hughes. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Selma Hayek returned to star, and Antonio Banderas, Frank Grillo, Tom Hopper, Morgan Freeman, Richard E. Grant and others joined in the cast, with a strong cast. The predecessor, The Hitman's Bodyguard, was released in 2017 and grossed $176 million worldwide at a cost of $30 million, performing well. The sequel tells the story of Darius, a killer played by Jackson, and his wife Sonya, played by Hayek, who are in danger.
