Special trailer for Miike Takashi's new film "Yokai War" to be released this summer

Takashi Miike's famous movie "Yokai War" is about to launch a new version "Yokai War: Guardians", which is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021. Today, on March 23, the official released the latest special trailer. Let's take a sneak peek.

The new version is called "Yokai War: Guardians", which tells a new story about a fifth-grade elementary school student named Watanabe who inherited the blood of a monster hunter and embarked on a great adventure with monsters. The confirmed roles are all from famous traditional Japanese monsters, including Tengu played by Miura Takahiro, Gyoutori played by Ando Sakura, Yokaido played by Omori Nanpei, Orangutan played by Okura Koji, and Yuki Onna played by Oshima Yuko, etc.
