Lionsgate released the first trailer for Saw 10, with Tobin Bell returning as Jigsaw. As the tenth film in the series, Saw 10 is set between the events of Saw 1 and Saw 2. Trailer: John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most unsettling entry in the Saw franchise yet, explores the untold story of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between Saw 1 and 2, a sick and desperate Kramer travels to Mexico to undergo a risky, experimental medical procedure in the hopes of a miraculous cure for his cancer, only to discover the entire operation is a scam designed to defraud the most vulnerable. With a new target in hand, the notorious serial killer is back to work, turning the con artists against him in his signature chilling fashion through guile, madness, and clever traps. Jigsaw first appeared in 2004's Saw, but died at the end of Saw 3. Despite this, the character was a driving force in the franchise, with Tobin Bell signing on for several sequels, appearing in flashback form, and twisting the series into one of the most complex timelines in modern film franchises. Saw 10 will be released in North America on September 27. The film is directed by Kevin Greutert, who directed Saw 6 in 2009 and Saw: The Final Chapter in 2010. He is also the editor of Saw 1-5 and Saw: Jigsaw in 2017. The screenwriters are Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, while Daniel J. Heffner, Ketura Kestin and James Wan serve as executive producers. |
