The box office of "The First Part of the Gods" is approaching 1 billion yuan. Screenwriter: The second part is ten times better

Wuershan's Chinese mythology fantasy film "The Investiture of the Gods Part 1" continues to be a hit. According to the official Weibo account of "The Investiture of the Gods", on the tenth day of its release, the film's box office this Saturday reversed the decline of last Saturday, and the cumulative box office exceeded 946 million, with more than 21.76 million viewers.

Recently, the well-known screenwriter Dong Runnian (representative works include "Lost in Thailand", "Mr. Six", "The Chef, the Actor, the Scoundrel") said: "The First Part of Investiture of the Gods is very good. As someone who has seen the rough cut of the second part, I can say with full responsibility that the second part is at least ten times better than the first part. The plot is more tense, the emotions are strong, the scenes are super grand, and all kinds of gods appear on the stage to fight, which satisfies all my imaginations of traditional Chinese mythology. I hope everyone will go to see the first part and make it a high box office so that the second part can meet everyone as soon as possible."

Director Wuershan once revealed in an interview that the box office performance of "The First Part of the Gods" must be good in order to advance the post-production of the second part. At present, it seems that we are still far from the goal, and in fact, we have not yet left the ICU.

He said that the second part will have more battle scenes, exotic animals, and more exciting dramatic clips.

It is reported that the reasons behind the first film's post-credits Easter eggs "Master Wen returns to the court" and "Daji cuts off her tail to repay her gratitude and save King Yin Shou of Shang" will be revealed in the sequel.

Recently, a video of an interview from two years ago was exposed. Director Wuershan, who was still in the post-production of "Fengshen" at the time, said that when talking about the most dangerous directing in his career, he said that if the movie failed at the box office, he would use 10 years to pay off his debt.

To this end, he brought his parents to his side in advance and bought education insurance and other insurance for his child to ensure that his education would not be affected until he was at least 18 years old.
