New stills of "Space Jam 2" released: James' domineering dunk

Recently, the sports comedy "Space Jam 2" was featured in "Entertainment Weekly" and many stills were exposed. Childhood memories return (the first film starred Michael Jordan), this time Bugs Bunny is more three-dimensional and the overall color tone is brighter.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, James said: "This is one of the biggest games I've ever been a part of, if not the biggest. Team Bugs Bunny is probably the best team ever assembled in the history of basketball." James said he has not yet had any communication with Jordan about the film, but he hopes Jordan will watch the film and approve of his performance.

"When I was younger, part of it was, 'Space Jam' was great, how can I top it?" James said. "There's always people saying I want to do what Jordan did, but as you get older, you know who you are and what you stand for."

James refused to star in the film more than a decade ago because he was worried that others would say he was imitating Jordan. However, he finally decided to become the protagonist of this new movie.

"Space Jam 2" is directed by Terence Nance, produced by Ryan Coogler, and executive produced by Justin Lin. LeBron James, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Diana Taurasi and other NBA and WNBA stars, Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green, Cedric Joe and other actors, and animated stars such as Bugs Bunny return.

"Space Jam 2" will be released in North America on July 16 and will be simultaneously available on HBO MAX streaming media.
