The 63rd Japan Film Blue Ribbon Awards, founded in 1950, were announced today, February 24. Masami Nagasawa won the Best Actress award for the second consecutive year, becoming the first actor in the history of the award to win the Best Actor award for two consecutive years. Former SMAP member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi won the Best Actor award. The Best Film was won by "Fukushima 50", which depicts the Fukushima nuclear accident, and the Best Foreign Film was won by the Korean film "Parasite".
