Samuel L. Jackson "spoiler": Captain Marvel will travel through time and space to appear in "Avengers 4"

According to foreign media BGR, when it comes to spoilers for The Avengers, Samuel Jackson can't compare to the spoilers of "Spider-Man" Tom Holland or "Hulk" Mark Ruffalo, but he seems ready to reveal some details about the upcoming movie. Just a month ago, the actor who will play "One-Eyed Man" Nick Fury in at least two Marvel movies this year ("Captain Marvel" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home") revealed a secret about Captain Marvel.

He confirmed that Captain Marvel has the ability to travel through time and space, which is of great significance to the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently, Jackson took the initiative to mention some details of "Avengers 4: Endgame": Captain Marvel will appear in "Avengers 4: Endgame".

"[The Avengers] are facing some really, really tough things right now, and we saw that in Avengers: Infinity War," Jackson said in an interview. "So now we know we need something as powerful as Thanos, and at some point, we're going to find out how powerful she is and all the things she can do. She's one of the few people in the Marvel Universe who can travel through time."

In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Jackson hinted that Captain Marvel might travel directly from the 1990s to the future of Avengers: Endgame:

I think we might find out that she can do things that nobody else can do. She can do time travel, so maybe she can go forward or backward or whatever and figure out what this is. In fact, the pager that I have 20 years later - it communicates in an interesting way.

In the previous post-credits scene, Nick Fury was indeed seen sending a red alert to a pager wearing Captain Marvel's insignia. If Captain Marvel did travel from the 90s to 2019, then she would definitely explain her situation over the years. It is worth noting that Captain Marvel can travel through time and space at will without the Time Stone. Jackson did not reveal what exactly would happen.

"Captain Marvel" will officially open on March 8, and "Avengers 4: End Game" will be released in the United States on April 26.
