Chris Pine to star in "Act of Violence" and team up with Ben Foster again

STX Films has acquired the North American distribution rights for the thriller "Act of Violence" starring Chris Pine. The film is directed by Tarek Saleh ("The Nile Hilton"), written by J.P. Davis, and the cast also includes Ben Foster, Gillian Jacobs, Eddie Marsan, Faris Faris, etc. This is also the second collaboration between Chris Pine and Ben Foster after the high-scoring crime film "Hell or High Water".

After being forced out of the Marine Corps, James Reid (Pine) joins a paramilitary unit to make ends meet. On his first mission, Reid is hunted in Poland. He must try to stay alive long enough to return home and discover the true motives of those who betrayed him.

"Act of Violence" was shot in many locations including the United States, Germany and Romania, and is currently in post-production.
