Dolph Lundgren, the actor who plays Nereus in "Aquaman", revealed that Warner and DC Films' "Aquaman 2" will start shooting in London this summer. "Aquaman 2" will be officially released on December 16, 2022. In this film, Lundgren will continue to play Nereus, the king of Xebel. "I'll probably be shooting Aquaman 2 in London this summer," Lundgren said during a virtual Wizard World panel on Sunday. "They're hoping to have it in theaters the following year." Lundgren also added that he was happy to play a member of the royal family: "Like a politician, a king talking about politics and trying to keep the peace. I am very happy that director James Wan chose me. It's a great experience." Previously, at the DC Fandom press conference in August, director James Wan said that "Aquaman 2" will be a more "serious" movie, closely related to our lives, and will also have more horror elements. |
