Haruki Murakami's original film "Drive My Car" has a new character and will be released this summer

The official film of the same name, adapted from the short story collection "Men Without Women" by the famous writer Haruki Murakami, recently announced new characters. The film is scheduled to be released this summer, so stay tuned.

·"Drive My Car" tells the story of stage actor Jiafu (about 60 years old) who knew that his wife, who is also an actress, had regular trysts with a male actor in the same play, but pretended not to know and played the role of a loving couple in front of the world. After his wife died, he hired a female driver, Watari. During the communication with Watari, he began to ask whether his deceased wife had to maintain a relationship with "that man".

· The film's main character, stage actor Iefuku, will be played by Nishijima Hidetoshi, the heroine MISAKI will be played by Miura Toruko, the key figure of the story, Takatsuki Koji, will be played by Okada Masaki, and Iefuku's deceased wife will be played by Kirishima Reika.
