Mad Max 4 prequel "Mad Max: Furiosa" is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2023

The spin-off prequel of "Mad Max 4" - Queen Furiosa's solo movie "Mad Max: Furiosa" has now been officially scheduled and will be released in North America on June 23, 2023.

Starring Anya Taylor-Joy ("X-Men: New Mutants" and "The Queen's Gambit"), Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ("Aquaman"), George Miller continues to direct, and the film is at Warner. Taylor-Joy plays a younger version of Furiosa, who will be played by Charlize Theron in "Mad Max 4".

Mad Max: Furiosa will be directed and written by Mad Max 4 director George Miller, who will also serve as producer. George Miller also co-wrote the script with his long-time partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell (Mad Max 4).
