The second season of Netflix's "The Witcher" will be broadcast in 2021. Today (December 23), the script of "The Witcher" Season 2 was exposed for the first time. Although it was only one page, it revealed that the opening of the second season will tell the story of Geralt, monsters and a mysterious character. The first script for the second season of The Witcher shows that there are three new characters involved in the new season: Colin Coppercloth, his wife Kira, and their daughter Meena (played by new actor Lesley Ewen). Colin Coppercloth is a mysterious new character in the world of The Witcher. The second season opens with Colin Coppercloth and his family entering a desolate town with no obvious signs of life. As they try to find shelter in an inn, Kira and Colin are dragged into the dark night by a fast-moving monster, while Meena runs for the hills. The script also shows Geralt's conversation with them, but it is not clear how Geralt's story is connected to the death of the Coppercloth couple and Meena's story. The second season of The Witcher is currently scheduled for 2021, with plans for the third season to be announced later. Netflix is also producing a six-part prequel series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, which tells the story 1,200 years before Geralt set foot in the Northern Kingdoms. And an animated film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, about Geralt's mentor Vesemir. |
