"Yazogumi-chan's Observation Diary" tells the story of Jin Jiedou who transferred from Tokyo to Aichi Prefecture. Originally, Jiedou was a native of Tokyo. After transferring to Aichi, Jiedou expected his classmates to speak the local dialect and show unique living habits, but Jiedou thought too much and realized that his classmates did not have any particularly obvious differences.

It was not until Kaito met his junior Yasokame Monaka and joined the school's photography club that he began to truly come into contact with the Nagoya culture and Nagoya dialect of the Aichi area. As a native of Nagoya, Yasokame Monaka has an inexplicable sense of antagonism towards Jin Kaito, a native of Tokyo.
