Wuershan's new role in "Fengshen Trilogy" announced, Chen Kun and Yuan Quan confirmed to play

Today (December 9), the film "Fengshen Trilogy" directed by Wuershan once again revealed the cast, Chen Kun and Yuan Quan will join the film. Chen Kun plays Yuanshi Tianzun and Yuan Quan plays Queen Jiang. The posters of the two characters were also officially released. In the poster, Chen Kun's "Yuanshi Tianzun" looks solemn, and Yuan Quan's "Queen Jiang" is dignified and majestic.

The "Investiture of the Gods Trilogy" is based on the well-known Chinese classical novel "Investiture of the Gods", which tells a long-lasting mythological war between humans, immortals and demons more than 3,000 years ago. One of the difficulties in filming the movie is the adaptation of the script. It requires appropriate choices and solid refinement to adapt a novel of 100 chapters into the capacity of three movies. The "Investiture of the Gods Trilogy" is the most expensive movie in the history of Chinese movies, with more than 2,000 staff members and a budget of 3 billion yuan.

Previously, the official announced the first batch of actors, Huang Bo plays Jiang Ziya, Fei Xiang plays Shang Wang Yin Shou, Li Xuejian plays Xibo Hou Ji Chang, Xia Yu plays Shen Gongbao, Yu Shi plays Ji Fa, and Hai Liang plays Yin Jiao. With the unveiling of the roles played by Chen Kun and Yuan Quan, the cast of classic characters in the world of Fengshen has become more complete.

The first part of "The Investiture of the Gods Trilogy" will be released in the summer of 2020, and the second and third parts are scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021 and 2022.
