As expected, Wonder Woman 1984 may not be released during Christmas season

A few days ago, Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman 1984, said that she would rather let the film enter the cinema on Christmas Day than land on streaming media, which is also the sixth release date of the film. Now she simply said that during the epidemic, everything has become uncertain.

In an interview with the media, Patty Jenkins, director of "Wonder Woman 1984", said: "For the release date of the film that everyone is concerned about, since the entire industry has to take various temporary measures to deal with this huge epidemic, it is not surprising that anything happens. We are used to a situation one day at a time and a situation one hour at a time. This is the current situation we are facing."

Jenkins also said she felt a lack of control over the film, which was originally scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019.

"It's so surreal. The most surreal thing is that this was supposed to be a step-by-step process: sign a movie, write a movie, direct a movie, make a movie, the movie comes out, OK the next one. Now, I've spent three years doing this, seven days a week, and still nothing. There's no sign at all."

Jenkins still has high hopes for a Christmas release, but she added that no one is "confident" about it. "It's so strange," she said. "We were discussing details and sharing experiences, and then we had to go home to clean, wash clothes and cook. I don't know how far the coronavirus pandemic will develop."
