Zhang Yi and Wu Jing's "King Kong River" will be released nationwide on October 23

The war film "The Battle at Lake Changjin", starring Zhang Yi, Wu Jing and others, was announced to be advanced today (October 15). The film was originally scheduled to be released on October 25, but has now been brought forward to October 23. The official also released a new release poster.

"King Kong River" is a film about the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, directed by Guan Hu, Guo Fan and Lu Yang, starring Zhang Yi, Wu Jing, Li Jiuxiao and Wei Chen, with a special appearance by Deng Chao. The film commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' participation in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and tells a little-known historical event that took place during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. According to the plot synopsis, the film tells a story from three perspectives: the engineer bridge was repaired, then blown up, and then repaired again... a war miracle that stood firm and puzzled the enemy.
