Today (March 14), 20th Century Fox announced that "Rise of the Planet of the Apes: A New World" will be introduced to China, with a release date to be determined, and will be released in North America on May 10. The film is set many years after the story of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" in 2017, and the apes embark on a new adventure. "Rise of the Planet of the Apes 4: New World" is directed by Wes Ball, the director of the "Maze Runner" trilogy, and stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon and William H. Macy. Josh Friedman ("Snowpiercer"), Patrick Eisen ("Hunter") and the previous screenwriters Rick Jaffe & Amanda Silver wrote the script together. |
