Oscar-winning World War II film "Zone of Interest" will be available on Max on April 5

Streaming service Max officially announced that the Oscar-winning World War II film "The Zone of Interest" directed by Johnathan Glazer will be available on Max on April 5.

With less than a month to go, subscribers will be able to watch the critically acclaimed film for free, and viewers who can’t wait to see its chilling look at the Holocaust can now pay to watch it on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.

The A24 film "Zone of Interest" is a co-production of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Poland, directed by Jonathan Glazer, and adapted from the novel of the same name published by Martin Amis in 2014. The film was shot in the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland between 2021 and 2022, and premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 19, 2023, and eventually won the Jury Prize and the FIPRESCI Award. The film represented the United Kingdom in the 96th Academy Awards for Best International Film, and eventually won the Best Sound Award and Best International Film Award.
