Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 has begun production and may focus on Spider-Man's love story

Sony's chief animator Nick Kondo tweeted today (June 9) that he has joined the production of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2".

At the end of April this year, it was officially confirmed that the animated film sequel "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2" will be released on October 7, 2022. The first film in the series tells the story of the young Miles becoming Spider-Man by chance and working with Spider-Man from other universes to resolve crises.

At present, the official has not revealed much about the plot of the second part, but in December 2018, producer Pascal revealed that the film will focus on the love story between Miles and Gwen Stacy.
