Brazilian man cuts off nose and splits tongue to resemble orc in Lord of the Rings

According to CTV News in Canada today, a Brazilian tattoo artist made "drastic" changes to his body in order to make himself look more like an orc from "The Lord of the Rings".

The man, Fernando Franco de Oliveira, told Canada's CTV News: "I spent 10 years getting my whole body covered in tattoos and underwent multiple surgeries, including on my ears, eyes, teeth, tongue and other parts of my body."

Oliveira said: "The most unhealthy modification I've ever done was to my nose. I had it removed surgically and it still hurts because when I shower a lot of water goes into my nose."

Oliveira stressed: “Everyone – most people in the world – are too similar, they are all the same. But I want to be different and stick to it.”
