MAPPA releases "Chainsaw Man" PV animation to be broadcast in 2022

The popular dark manga "Chainsaw Man" created by Fujimoto Shu has released its first animation trailer since June this year. In addition to releasing a new Project PV video at the Jump Festa 2022 event today, the official also announced the serialization of the "Second Part" of the manga. The animation is produced by MAPPA. The work mainly tells the story of a boy named Denji who becomes a demon hunter in order to pay off the huge debt left by his father. One day, he dies and is miraculously saved by his demon pet "Pochita", which leads to a completely different life.

The official video shared a few days ago does not disclose much information, and the voice actors of the main characters have not been announced yet. In addition to the comic scenes, the trailer also shows a short animation clip of the popular character Miss Makima at the end. The "Chainsaw Man" animation will be launched in 2022, and the "Second Part" of the comic will begin serialization in the summer of 2022.
