Kadokawa Group announced the acquisition of the representative works of the producer Animation Studio, including "My Little Pony: The Legend of the Condor Heroes"

On July 11, Kadokawa Group announced that it had acquired shares in animation production company Animation Studio, which has now become a subsidiary of Kadokawa. The acquisition is part of Kadokawa Group's medium-term business plan ending in March 2028 to expand its production lines and enhance production capabilities to establish a system for continuously creating attractive animation works.

Founded in 1973, the animation production company Animation Studio is a studio with extensive experience in animation production, and has produced many popular works, including: "My Little Pony: The Little Girl", "An Angel Has Descended to Me!", "Himusuma!
