Resident Evil: Dead Island new trailer to be released in summer 2023

Today (March 10), Capcom's new Resident Evil CG animation film series "Resident Evil: Dead Island" released a new trailer, showing a batch of new movie stills. The movie will be released in the summer of 2023. The movie is directed by Eiichiro Hanzumi ("Assassination Classroom") and written by Makoto Fukami ("Psycho-Pass"). This work is also the sequel to "Resident Evil: Nemesis".

When Leon is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from the kidnappers, a mysterious woman blocks his mission. Meanwhile, Chris is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco. The cause of the infection is unknown, but the only thing that is certain is that the victims have recently been to Alcatraz. Based on this clue, Chris and his team head to the island to investigate, where an unknown horror awaits them.
