'Black Panther' actor Chadwick Boseman dies of cancer at 43

The Associated Press has just announced that "Black Panther" actor Chadwick Boseman died of colon cancer at the age of 43.

In 2018, Chadwick Boseman became famous for playing T'Challa, the king of the mysterious African country Wakanda and the successor of Black Panther in Marvel's "Black Panther". "Black Panther" has won $1.3 billion in global box office revenue and is considered one of the milestones of black films, receiving 7 Oscar nominations.

Chadwick Boseman was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA in 1977. After graduating from high school, he attended Howard University in Washington and obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He then entered the British Academy of Drama in Oxford, England. At first, Chadwick Boseman wanted to be a writer and director. He spent a lot of time studying the history of African Americans at the research center in Harlem, New York, but he finally decided to be an actor.
