The last crazy action? New trailer of "Gintama THE FINAL" released

Warner Japan released two short trailers for the movie "Gintama: The Final" today (December 25) (one funny and one touching). This "final movie" will be released in Japan on January 8, 2021.

The new theatrical version of "Gintama THE FINAL" is directed and written by Chizuru Miyawaki, the director of the third season of the "Gintama" TV animation, and supervised by Yoichi Fujita of "Gintama the Movie: The Final Chapter: Eternal Yorozuya". There are two theatrical versions of "Gintama" that have been released, the first one is "Gintama: The New Translation of the Red Cherry Blossom Arc", and the second one is "Gintama: The Final Chapter: Eternal Yorozuya".

"Gintama" tells the story of the invasion of aliens called "Amanto" at the end of the Edo period. The war between the earthlings and the Amanto broke out instantly, and a large number of samurai and anti-foreign activists participated in the battle with the Amanto. After seeing the powerful strength of the Amanto, the shogunate signed an unequal treaty with the Amanto without authorization and allowed them to enter the country. Later, it issued a "sword ban order" and took away the samurai's swords. Since then, the Amanto has been rampant and the shogunate has become a "puppet regime." In such an era, there was a samurai who lived a whimsical life happily with his companions...
