"Ponyo on the Cliff" released the Chinese version of the poster based on the first original painting created by Hayao Miyazaki

The animated film "Ponyo on the Cliff", which will be released in mainland China on December 31, released a Chinese version of the poster today (December 25). This poster is based on the first original painting of the film created by Hayao Miyazaki, showing the original appearance of "Ponyo".

"Ponyo on the Cliff" is a feature-length animated film produced by Studio Ghibli, directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki, and voiced by Yuria Nara, Tomoko Yamaguchi, Kazushige Nagashima, etc. It premiered in Japan on July 19, 2008. The film tells the story of Ponyo, a mermaid who wants to become a human in the deep sea, and the human boy Sosuke. "Ponyo on the Cliff" is made entirely by hand, with more than 170,000 manuscripts in total, making it the work with the most drawings by Hayao Miyazaki. It won the annual box office champion in Japan in 2008.
