The Witcher TV series season 2 production may have already begun

Netflix's The Witcher TV series received mixed reviews after its first season, but it was a huge success in terms of ratings. Recently, the show's producer Lauren S. Hissrich tweeted that production on the second season has begun.

Lauren S. Hissrich said: "It hurts to leave my family in Los Angeles, but with their full support, I will do it again", "Towards "The Witcher" Season 2!" This also means that "The Witcher" Season 2 has entered the pre-production stage, but the actual shooting will not start immediately and it will take several weeks of preparation.

Lauren Hissrich previously said that the second season will focus more on the story, with Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri and others' story lines beginning to intersect, and the plot will become more linear. The second season will also reflect the passage of time through changes in character appearance.

The second season of The Witcher TV series will begin filming on February 17 and will premiere in 2021.
