IGN Rating: 9 Excellent

The first three episodes of The Boys’ second season premiere deftly balance its more comedic cinematic elements with deeper human and social research.

IGN's overall review:

The Boys opens its second season with an even more brutal, disdainful attitude than the first. Showrunner Eric Kripke finds just the right way to build on the momentum of the first season while further developing the characters in new and interesting ways. Newcomers Aya Cash (Stormfront) and Giancarlo Esposito round out an already impressive cast, delivering superb acting. If you loved the over-the-top action of the first season, rest assured you'll be seeing even more craziness this time around. With five of the eight episodes left to watch (in addition to the first three), The Boys is off to another strong start.
