The animated series "Blade Runner: Black Lotus" released two trailers. The whole series has 13 episodes, each episode is about half an hour long. It is produced by Sola Digital Arts ("Ultraman"), and Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, the "Ghost in the Shell" duo, will direct all episodes of the first season. Shinichiro Watanabe ("Cowboy Bebop") will serve as the creative producer. The story of "Blade Runner: Black Lotus" will take place in 2032, still in the decadent future world where replicants exist, and familiar characters from the "Blade Runner" universe will appear. The main inspiration for the show is the second movie in the series, "Blade Runner 2049". "Blade Runner: Black Lotus" will be officially broadcast in 2021. |
