The super long-running realistic manga "Golgoku 13" is still being serialized, and the author Saito Takao recently revealed in an interview with a magazine that when he was young, he was criticized by his predecessor, the big-name cartoonist Hiroo Terada, for his tasteless comics. Fortunately, Saito Takao persisted and achieved the status of "Golgoku 13" today.

· "Golgoku 13" is a work by Japanese manga artist Saito Takao. The protagonist is Duke Togo, a killer with top-notch sniping ability. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's "Big Comic" magazine since November 1968 and is still being serialized today. There are 175 volumes of the single volume. Now it has a history of more than 50 years and has been adapted into other works many times.

·The author Saito Takao recently revealed in an interview with a magazine that he had an anecdote with the late cartoonist Terada Hiroo. When he was in his 20s, he suddenly received many letters from Terada Hiroo, criticizing his cartoons for being too tasteless. Saito Takao was surprised and sent his own works to protest. After that, the two never met until Terada's death.

Hiroo Terada (August 4, 1931 - September 24, 1992) was a top leader among the Tokiwa-so manga masters who had worked there, including Osamu Tezuka and Fujiko Fujio. He was known as the "President of the New Manga Party."
