The new work "Dark Mamiya" by Japanese manga artist Nobuyuki Fukumoto, who is famous for "Gambling Apocalypse", started serialization today, July 1st. This is another new gambling work that describes the competition and dangers among mahjong masters and is full of imagination.

Nobuyuki Fukumoto is a Japanese manga artist who worked in a construction company for several months. He made his debut in 1980 with the publication of "Please Take Care! Junjou Taisho" in Monthly Shonen Champion. Later, he attracted much attention and received a great response for his rare gambling theme. "Gambling Apocalypse", which began serialization in 1996, won the 22nd Kodansha Manga Award in 1998 for its twists and turns in the plot and magical and strange brain circuits.

· Nobuyuki Fukumoto's new work "Dark Mahjong Mamiya" (tentative translation) tells the story of a new master named "Dark Mahjong Mamiya" who emerged 20 years after the legendary god-level Mahjong King AKAGI left this world and specialized in solving various difficult problems with magical Mahjong techniques.
