Japan's largest doujinshi bazaar C99 has been cancelled and moved to May 1 next year

Comic Market, the largest doujinshi trade fair in Japan and the world, officially announced yesterday (12th) that the new C99 scheduled to open this winter will be cancelled and is being planned to be adjusted to the May 1 Golden Week next year. Fans said it is worth looking forward to, after all, previous conferences were either held in the scorching summer or the severe winter, and heat stroke incidents have occurred frequently.

Comic Market is the largest doujinshi sales fair in Japan and even in the world, organized by the Comic Market Preparatory Committee. It is abbreviated as Comiket (コミケ) or CM. Summer Comi is usually held from the second Friday to Sunday of August every year, and Winter Comi is held for 2-3 days between December 28th and 31st. Both are held at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo. Admission is free. It started in 1975.

Fans expressed their approval. After all, the dates of Comic Market are always too "strict", so adjusting the dates is a good opportunity.
