Sony's Uncharted movie will not follow any generation of games, but will tell a prequel story, focusing on the younger version of Drake, played by "Spider-Man" Tom Holland. However, if Sony wants to make a movie based on the Uncharted game, actor Nolan North, who voices Drake in the game, believes that Chris Pine would be the first choice for the role of Drake. North once played a small role in "Star Trek Into Darkness" starring Chris Pine, and was with Chris Pine in some scenes. North told Fandom: "I watched Chris Pine perform and sat next to him at lunch. One time in the makeup trailer, I told him that if there was a script called Uncharted that came across your manager's desk, you should take a closer look. Because I think you'd be perfect for it." North explained that Chris Pine has all the good qualities - charm, humor - that would make him the perfect choice to play Drake. The movie version of "Uncharted Waters" stars Mark Wahlberg as Sully in addition to Tom Holland. After several changes of directors, the film was originally scheduled to start shooting earlier this year, but the new coronavirus disrupted the plan. |
