Mission: Impossible 7 can resume filming in the UK, Tom Cruise does not need to be quarantined

Recently, the British Ministry of Culture and Tom Cruise reached an agreement to allow the "Mission: Impossible 7" crew to resume work in the UK. The crew members, including Tom Cruise, do not need to implement the 14-day quarantine policy. However, the crew members will live and work in a special environment (protected "bubble" environments) for two weeks. The British side pointed out that this policy is an important means to stimulate economic recovery.

In addition to the UK, New Zealand has also allowed the TV series "The Lord of the Rings" and "Cowboy Bebop" to resume filming.

Last Friday, the UK announced the latest border control measures: Residents of dozens of countries and regions, including Japan and Germany, will not need to be quarantined for 14 days when entering England from July 10, but the United States is not included. However, there are quite a lot of Hollywood crews, mainly American, shooting in the UK, so the British Ministry of Culture reached a special agreement with the crew of "Mission Impossible 7".

The UK Department of Culture and Tom Cruise hold online consultations

The crew of "Mission Impossible 7" will start filming at Warner Bros. Studios near London. The British side believes that the crew members will concentrate on shooting indoors and will not enter the public environment. They will also implement the British Film Commission's strict epidemic prevention policies to try to minimize risks.

Film and television productions contribute more than $12.4 billion to the UK economy each year and create more than 70,000 jobs each year.
