Comet hits the Earth! Hollywood sci-fi disaster film "Greenland" released a trailer

The sci-fi disaster film "Greenland", starring Gerard Butler, the male lead of the "Fallen" series, recently released a trailer with extremely impactful visual effects.

In the trailer, Gerard plays an ordinary man, John Garrity, who, like billions of other people on Earth, watches in horror as comet fragments hit the Earth, crushing countless cities and threatening human survival. John hears that there is a refuge in Greenland where his family can survive, and he must take his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin) and young son Nathan (Roger Dale Floyd) on a dangerous journey to a safe haven before most people.

The plot of "comet hitting the earth" has been seen in previous Hollywood disaster films. Judging from the trailer, "Greenland" does not have much new ideas, but rather borrows some of the settings from "2012". However, in an era dominated by superhero movies, the disaster film "Greenland" may provide people with a new viewing experience.

Movie Synopsis:

"Greenland" is directed by Rick Roman Wolf, the director of "Angel Has Fallen" and "The Informer", and will be released in North America on August 14.
