On June 17, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that the disaster film "Twister" will be released in China on July 19. The film is a new version of the 1996 film "Twister" directed by Lee Isaac Cheng and starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos and Brandon Perea. Trailer video: Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones), a former storm chaser haunted by a traumatic experience with a tornado in college, now studies storm patterns in her New York office. Recruited by her friend Harvey (Anthony Ramos), she returns to the outdoors to test a groundbreaking new system for chasing winds. There, she meets super-influencer Tyler Owens (Glen Powell). Reckless and charismatic, Tyler leads a team of storm chasers and broadcasts their experiences online, getting more excited when the storms get more exciting. As the storm season arrives, unprecedented and terrifying storms are also frequent. Kate, Taylor and their team must race against time to escape the intersection of multiple tornadoes.
