"Alien Refugees" IGN 6 points: interesting but not as good as Rick and Morty

Today (May 9), IGN gave a 6-point rating to the first season of "Aliens Also Refugees", a new work by Justin Roiland, the co-creator of "Rick and Morty". IGN said in the review: "Aliens Also Refugees is a funny but formulaic animated sitcom, but don't expect it to be another "Rick and Morty."

IGN 6 points OK

"Aliens" is a hilarious but formulaic animated sitcom, but don't expect it to be another "Rick and Morty."

IGN Overall Review:

Rick and Morty fans should keep their expectations well-managed when they jump into The Refugees. Despite being helmed by veterans of both series and its inescapable similarities to Rick and Morty, this animated sitcom is neither smart nor funny. But on its own merits, The Refugees' first season was a formulaic but enjoyable show to watch. The show has also continued to improve over time, so season two may be where The Refugees finds its place in the world of animated sitcoms.

"Aliens" tells the story of a group of refugees from outer space who settle in the United States. In addition to adapting to a new life on Earth, they also have to do their best to solve various complex situations on Earth. It is reported that Justin Roiland, Sean Giambrone, Mary Mack and Thomas Middleditch will voice the characters of "Aliens". "Aliens" will premiere on May 8th with a total of 8 episodes in the first season.
