The most handsome dragon knight! Mackenyu Arata's "Dragon Island" will be broadcast in December

Japanese-American actor Mackenyu Arata, who has become famous in Hollywood for playing the role of "Zoro" in Netflix's live-action series "One Piece", recently received good news that he will star in the Disney+ original series "Ragnarok: Island of Dragons", playing the role of Aktha, a dragon knight who can communicate with dragons. The series will be exclusively launched on the streaming media on December 20.

"Obama Hatch: Island of Dragons" is starring Sena Nakajima, Daikan Okudaira, and Mackenyu Nitta, and is co-directed by Kentaro Ogihara, who has extensive experience in film shooting, and animation director Takashi Otsuka. The animation design part is co-created by IG Animation Production Company ("Ghost in the Shell").

The story describes a girl named Nagi (Sena Nakajima) who lives in the "real world". She was born with a high sensitivity to sound and color. She can even see the corresponding color when she hears a certain sound. One day, she meets Thaim (Daikae Okudaira) from another world. Thaim grew up in an animation world called "Upananta", but he was excluded because he could not hear the sound of the dragon in the animation country, and lived a lonely life as if he was exiled from the world.

The animated world "Upananta" that was originally floating in the air slowly fell from the sky for some reason. Two "marginal people" who had no intersection at all had the opportunity to meet and embarked on an epic adventure where the two worlds intersected.
