The third season of Invincible is in production. At the San Diego Comic-Con, creator Robert Kirkman responded to some questions from fans, including whether the third season will be divided into two parts like the second season. He did not give a definite answer, but said: "I can only say that we are very clear that the discount is not popular. But things are unpredictable. Don't get me wrong, we are exploring it, and this is something we will definitely discuss... I don't know yet, it will take some time to know for sure." Season 2 of Invincible premiered two years after the first season in 2021, and was split into two parts, with the first part airing in November 2023 and the second part not airing until March of this year. Fans didn't like the wait, but Kirkman explained at the time that the "break" in the middle was to allow viewers to laugh at some of the events of season 2, which made sense "narratively." The third season of the animated series was announced in June, with star Steven Yeun promising fans that they wouldn't have to wait too long this time. At the San Diego Comic-Con, the official fourth season was also confirmed, with the third season trailer revealing the new costumes of the main characters. |
