Theron Charlize Theron's new comic book adaptation "The Eternals" reveals stills of her role as a 6,000-year-old immortal

Goddess Charlize Theron's new comic-adapted film "The Old Guard" released a set of new stills today (May 8). The film is scheduled to be released on July 10. Following "Atomic Blonde", Queen Charlize Theron once again starred in a comic-adapted action movie.

The story of "The Everlasting" will tell the story of an "immortal" who is more than 6,000 years old, Andromache Xerxes (played by Charlize Theron). After hundreds of deaths, Andromache Xerxes will still be resurrected and keep fighting until she meets another immortal.

"The Eternals" is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood ("Love and Basketball," "Beyond the Lights") and stars Charlize Theron and Kiki Layne ("If Beale Street Could Talk"). The film is adapted from the original comic book by Gray Rucka, who also wrote the screenplay for the film.
