The online movie "The Monkey King 2: The Silk Cave" written and directed by Wong Jing and starring Benny Chan, Law Kar-ying and Lam Chi-chung has released a trailer and confirmed that it will be broadcast on Tencent Video on May 22.

Plot summary: Tang Seng (played by Law Kar-ying), Sun Wukong (played by Benny Chan), Zhu Bajie (played by Lam Chi-chung), and Sha Seng (played by Huo Xing) travel to Pansi Mountain and encounter the spider spirit Xiao Qi (played by Yun Qianqian) who was trapped by a trap and send her home. Sun Wukong has a fiery eye and sees that Xiao Qi's mother and servants are transformed by demons, so he starts to eliminate the demons, but Tang Seng mistakenly thinks that Wukong is killing innocent people, and the master and apprentice break up. Without Sun Wukong's protection, Tang Seng and Wujing are captured by the spider spirits and taken to Pansi Cave. Fortunately, they are rescued by the kind-hearted spider spirit Xiao Qi. Unexpectedly, the Queen of Danger suddenly appears, and a battle is about to break out.
